Put this date on your calendar! Thursday July 25th @ 0800, Barrancas Cemetery on Naval Air Station Pensacola will hold a service to honor our sister and brother veterans who were interred at Barrancas Cemetery over the previous 90 days without friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc...to attend their internment. It is a very solemn ceremony in which their names are read aloud along with their time of service-ie: WWII, Korea, Cold War, Gulf Wars, etc. Many of the veterans who are being remembered have served in more than one conflict or theatre of operations. Even though we may not be in uniform at this time, it doesn't mean that our service to our country has ended! We never leave a servicemember behind, we pick them up to carry them home. Be part of This ceremony! It does offer some healing when you attend, I know because I have heard it from other veterans who have attended this ceremony; and have felt it myself! We look forward to seeing you there, and thank those that have continued to attend this special ceremony of remembrance!
