During this time of family get-togethers and family celebrations, many Veterans take their own lives. These are known as the 22-a-day. It is difficult to feel happy when you feel invisible or alone. You feel like you are on the outside looking in; but unwelcome to partake in the festivities. Its hard to explain unless you've gone through it. If you know of a Veteran alone during this time- please invite them over to celebrate with your family- it just might save their life! We ALL need to be needed, and encouraged, and wanted, and loved! If you know of a Veteran who needs help- Speak Up! If you are the Veteran who needs help- Speak Out!!!!! Any situation can change in a day if its known about- it won't change if its kept silent!!!
