The quarterly Unaccompanied Burial Service will be held Thursday October 28th @ 0800- committal shelter A (in what used to be known as Barrancas Annex). This is a ceremony to honor those that have been interred at Barrancas within the last 90 days with a roll call & memory of their service to our country. These veterans didn't have anyone that knew them attend their internment- not family or friends, nor neighbors or coworkers- only the staff at Barrancas & a chaplain. This could happen to any one of us at any time- so its important that we remember them (even if we personally didn't know them)- because they are our sisters & brothers-in-arms & that's all we need to recognize! Wear your military affiliation proudly when you come & stand tall & salute!
