Once a quarter we come to Barrancas National Cemetery to stand in the gap & to honor those of us who were interred there without friends, family, co-workers, etc... It is a ceremony with full military honors, in which the names of those who were interred over the previous 90 days are read out loud. It is a time to hear their names & to be remembered by us as a Sister or Brother-in-Arms, even if we didn't know them in life. We are links in the chain that shall never be broken. Come with us to honor them. Ceremony starts by 0800. It is advised to come to NAS Pensacola & reach the front gate by apx 0720, in order to be able to get through the gate & onto the grounds of BARRANCAS & park, prior to the start of the ceremony. Please wear your military/vet group cover or insignia. We hope to see you there.
