The next regular Chapter meeting is the 31st of May at the American Legion Post 143 in Post Falls (Poleline and Syringa). Meeting starts at 1800.
It is the last meeting of the summer until the 30th of August.

Memorial Day is Monday May 30. You are encouraged to attend any of the events in the area wearing your DAV Cap.
Hayden will lay a wreath at the Honeysuckle Beach at 10 AM and ceremonies at City Hall at 11 AM
The Third Street Bell is a site at 11AM for ceremonies. The Coeur d'Alene Cemetery is the site of a major ceremony.

Commander Stamper and I will spend the morning in the Post Falls Middle School speaking to five different classes on
the meaning of Memorial Day.

The National Service Officer from Boise will be up here with the Mobile Service Officer Van on the 1st of June.
The Chapter always takes care of our own. We set up a shade tarp, tables, chairs, coffee, drinks, doughnuts and run
the sign in sheet.
We need to be at the Job Service at 0800 and we could use some volunteers. Please call me at 773-1074 if you can come out for a few hours.

Our first parade of the year is Post Falls on Saturday, June 4th starting at 11 AM.
