We will be having a meeting at 7:30 PM on March 21, 2012 at 223 E Michigan Ave., Corunna, IN 46730. We will be electing officers for both DAV and Auxiliary, please come and help us.
On April 6th, we will be having High's BBQ Fundraiser at Advance Auto Parts parking lot in Auburn at Grandstaff and West 7th Street. 1/2 Chicken will be selling for $5.50 that day from 3:30-5:30 PM.
On May 5th we will be have Forget-Me-Not Drive from 8 AM to 4 PM and so far we only have two locations, Albright's Grocery in Corunna and Lance's Super Valu in Garrett. If you know of any other locations that we might be able to use, please let me, Commander Pickard, know so I can contact the stores and confirm it.
We need help on both of these days for our fundraisers, so please let me know if you can help--and where. We really need to do well on both fundraisers. Please step up to the plate and help us hit a home run!!!
Remember, we are the only D.A.V. post in the four Northeaster Counties, so if you have connections with any retailers, try to get them to let us stand in front of their store on May 5th to sell our Forget-Me-Nots, and let me know so I can make the proper arrangements.
