Army extends $5,000 bonus for new recruiting volunteers through March

F-16 crashes off South Korea after in-flight emergency, Air Force says
An Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon out of South Korea crashed into the Yellow Sea on Wednesday after an in-flight emergency, according to the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base. The pilot safely ejected and was recovered roughly 50 minutes after the crash.

Car crash kills 1 Texas National Guard soldier, another shoots himself at the scene
Two National Guard soldiers were involved in a car crash early Monday morning in south Texas that killed the passenger. When the driver could not save his fellow soldier, he shot himself dead at the scene, local police said.
