| | | Charlotte Hall Veterans Home has been proudly “Serving Those Who Served” since 1985. The Home is situated on 126 beautiful acres in St. Mary’s County, and offers and a continuum of care from the 168-bed assisted living program to the 286-bed skilled nursing program. Charlotte Hall Veterans Home also offers memory care in secure units. The Home is Medicare/Medicaid certified, and all veterans receive a per diem subsidy from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs that reduces their cost of care. The Home is inspected annually, as required by the Office of Health Care Quality, MD Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene, and by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. |

Free Tow Service With more than 3,500 tow companies at our disposal, we can provide free pick-up anywhere in the country. The only exception is where the towing costs may be higher than the vehicle value. Tax Benefits You are entitled to receive a tax deduction equal to what the vehicle is sold for if you itemize your deductions. If the vehicle is sold for less than $500, you can deduct the fair market value up to $500. You will receive a tax receipt stating what your vehicle sold for within a few days of the sale. |

To help meet your wellness needs, the Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation has a unique program, Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies, FREE-of-charge to qualified veterans. Healthy Minds and Bodies - Veterans, Fitness Training, Networking Eligibility Serves all military veterans 10% or more service-related disability Honorable discharge Services Veterans accepted into the Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies Program will receive: Personal training sessions with a certified trainer experienced in post-rehabilitation exercise One-year fitness membership One-year membership for a spouse, partner, or friend Invitations to optional social events. Start dates and training sessions with a certified trainer will be tailored to meet the needs of each participant. An initial consult with staff is required to determine if this program is right for you. Fitness memberships and training sessions are affiliated with the Wayne K.
