DAV CHAPTER 21 NATIONAL CONVENTION REPORT

The 2019 DAV National Convention held in Orlando Florida August 3-6 was very successful and well attended. James Byrne, Acting Deputy Secretary of Veteran Affairs made an outstanding speech. The Dept of NC received an award for 100% of our goal for membership.
Our Junior Vice Commander, Kelly Winston, was also in attendance for this convention. She worked on the legislature & benefits protection committee, and did an outstanding job.
James R. Alston, Commander of Chapter 21, was assigned to the DAV National Employment Committee, which was very informative.
