Born in Coloma, Michigan, Karen served in the United States Navy as a Yeoman at the US Naval Station, Washington DC. She was a member of the Beaufort County Chapter of Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
Alvin L. Williams, Sr.
November 26, 1948 - October 17, 2023
Alvin Lee Williams, Sr. born in West Virginia, served as treasurer for Beaufort County DAV Chapter 48. As a U.S. Navy corpsman, he saw action in the Vietnam War and was later discharged with honors. He was also president of the local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
