The New Jersey Department of Health is sponsoring a trial of free healthcare for all military veterans. The project, "Total Care Initiative", commenced in January 2016 and may continue beyond June if another grant becomes available. This service is offered through Rutgers University. Clinics are in New Brunswick, Newark, Camden, and Cherry Hill. Each is open two days a week. VA enrollment or qualifications are not necessary.
