Chapter Elections : June 9th, at 7 p.m.
Commander’s Message: This will be my last letter to the Chapter Membership. It has been a pleasure for me to serve as your Commander for the past three years. I have tried very hard to treat every member equally. I LOVE the D.A.V. and all it’s members, although, there are some who feel otherwise.
I wish to thank all the VOLUNTEERS for their very hard work; members and Auxiliary alike. I especially wish to thank the Membership for their support these past years through all the difficult times we faced together.
“VETERANS HELPING VETERANS” should be forever our motto.
This next meeting will be the Chapter elections. I want everyone to understand that I do not intend to endorse anyone for any office. The Chapter will nominate and elect the best people they think should lead the Chapter for this next year. That has always been my belief. I have said all I wish to say. May you have a very successful election.

Auxiliary Adjutant Note: Hello Members: Well we could not have a meeting this past month as we did not have a quorum. If we are not able to have meetings, National Hdqtrs. will probably be pulling our charter and we DO NOT want to see that happen. So please if at all possible, come to our meetings.
We are also having a garage sale on Saturday, June 7 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. The workshop day will be Thursday, June 5 from 1:00 pm to whenever we get it done. We need all the help we can get from our members and, hopefully, the men can help us out.
