The General Ben King Veterans Memorial Gateway is located at the entrance to the Florence Municipal Airport and is named after
General Ben King who was a fighter pilot ace in World War II and spent his last years in our community.
The Memorial is also located adjacent to the Oregon Coast Military Museum which was established as a place to display the memorabilia and history of our many. |
