It's been a while since I put on the uniform of this country to join in the struggle for freedom. Now I find that I am one of the special veterans, those, who like you have paid a price and for some of us, will continue to pay the price. There are many worthwhile veterans organizations that strive to protect our benefits that you and I fought for and rightly deserve. Because you and I are special, we are eligible to be part of the DAV. We know the price that has been paid and we know the price that is still being paid by our military today. It is up to us, those who know the cost of suffering to see to it that veterans are taken care of and not taken for granted.
I want to personally invite you to attend one of our meetings and join in the fellowship of a great group of veterans dedicated to helping out our comrades. No cost, no strings attached, just come on out and see what we're all about and meet with us. Check the calendar and attend a meeting. I hope you will join us in our efforts in behalf of all veterans. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions you might have about our organization or if we can help you to get to a meeting.
