For all disabled veterans who qualify for this property tax deferment--you need to take a current copy of your disablity rating (dated no later than 1 Jan 2009) to the tax office and file your claim.
If you do not have are current proof or you are not sure if you qualify, please speak to Phil Jordon at the Lubbock VA clinic. He works there on Mondays and Fridays, 8:30 to 12 noon and 1pm to 3pm.
