The monthly meething of Chapter #58, Disabled American Veterans will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 11am. The meeting as always will be held in the Rebel room, Furr's cafeteria, town and country shopping center (corner or Midkiff rd and Cuthbert) Midland Texas. All are encouraged to attend. The recent meeting for April 2011 was full of recognition for accomplishments of the post and discussion of the recent trip to El Paso for 4 members of the post to attend training for Chapter Service Officers and conference of Regional DAV. Much was learned about helping the deligates understand the process of representing the interest of disabled veterans and their families and well as much fellowship with fellow disabled veterans. Any disabled veteran is encouraged to join our organization but it is never required for service to veterans, that's always free of charge. Again, all are encouraged to attend our next meeting May 14, 2011.
