Chapter Surpasses Major Milestone
Chapter 48 surpassed a major milestone by contributing over $200,000 in contribution over the last 30 years. DSC Chairman Bob Bent, who has been tracking the donations, announced the results in April.
These donations have ranged from postage to canteen books and a bookcase, contributions to multiple units within the Center, ranging from the Hospice Care Unit, Poly-Trauma Unit, to the VA Volunteer Services (VAVS). Almost half of the total has been in the form of non-cash donations.
