Message from the DAVA Commander
Greetings to all!
I hear most of you enjoyed the Christmas Party. Thank you to Elisabeth Horswell’s granddaughter Heather for helping. Apologies to Terri for not mentioning her donation of the bird houses that were the table decorations. Thank you very much Terri.
Also, apologies to Bob and Terri for the mix up with their salmon dinners. The kitchen had prepared all 37 dinners. However one beef and one chicken dinner were returned. We will have to work on a better functioning system for next time.
We enjoyed the commander from state, Diane Brinkley, for her being present at our Christmas party. We want to thank her for joining us.
On December 12 we went to McGuire VA hospital in Richmond. Lila Johnson and Elisabeth Horswell joined the chapter in delivering many items to the hospice and recreation centers. It was a successful trip.
