DAV: FULFILLING OUR PROMISES TO THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED
Announcements: Action needed, Contact your Representatives NOW!

Title

Action needed, Contact your Representatives NOW!

Body

Here are the updates on three of our primary bills at the moment in Washington so that all get the initiatory information and are ready to know what the issues at stake are.

(1) S-207 Entitled "Veterans’ Access to Community Care Act of 2015 * HR 572 Identical "

This is the bill that has been long awaited. After thousands of veterans have been hurt or even died while being delayed or completed ignored we got a bill passed.

The Obama Administration however just omitted its funding in the budget they submitted. And so the battle goes on.

As of now Markey and Warren have not bothered to sign on to this bill.

Thus far we only get "form E-mails" from both Senators on this bill and all others. They do not even bother to answer our mail with a real answer.

Now you see where you stand. It takes no time at all to have your name added to a bill. A staff member does ot for you. The Senator just has to care a little ting bit.

Those who have received "back door" information are told that we just do not produce enough contacts. Some groups deliver thousands and we do not even produce a 100.

(2) HR-572 Entitled " Veterans’ Access to Community Care Act of 2015 " This is the companion bill to S-207. Notice the lack of Massachusetts Congressmen/women supporting you.

(3) S-1493 Entitled "Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2015 " This is the annual increase in Compensation rates. Normally this passes every year without much hoopla at all. It was reffered to as "A Christmas Tree Ornament" for many years.

NOTICE that neither Markey or Warren have bothered to add their name. They have sent their usual form letters to all we have seen but they show by inaction that the really care not at all for you and yours.
