The 15th annual Golden Corral Military Appreciation tribute to honor all military personnel with a free ‘thank you’ dinner will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. We are looking forward to having you celebrate with us. (Due to the media confusion in 2014 regarding the date of our Military Appreciation dinner, in 2015 the dinner will be held on Veteran’s Day, November 11th).
The 2014 Military Appreciation Monday dinner was a huge success; Golden Corral served over 342,000 free ‘thank you’ meals to our military men and women plus the Disabled American Veterans local chapters raised over $1.4 million dollars to assist with local projects. I know that this year will be just as big a success – we are counting on you and your DAV members.
The Disabled American Veterans organization is our exclusive partner for this event and will have the opportunity from November 1 through the night of the dinner to solicit guests for contributions to be used by the DAV state and local chapters. This is also a great opportunity to inform the community and potential DAV members about the great services of the organization. DAV materials and the collection canisters will be sent directly from Cold Spring to the Golden Corral restaurant around October 20. Be sure to ask the Golden Corral manager for these packages.
I am soliciting your help to assign a DAV representative(s) to every Golden Corral restaurant in your state to work with the Golden Corral management team to raise funds during the first two weeks of November. The DAV contact Information from 2014 is shown on the attached. Please review the attached list and highlight revisions or updates for 2015 and return by September 18.
