 Monthly Meetings

Have you been attending your monthly DAV Meetings? Have you noticed they are getting smaller? If you want ways to increase your membership, then read further.  Go to: www.okdav.org   
  • Send a postcard to eack of your members approx. 10-14 days before the meeting.
  • Call your members and remind them of the meeting.
  • Host a pot luck dinner before the meeting.
  • Have an approved fundraiser before the meeting (ie bake sale, dinner, cruise in, etc.)
  • offer small door prizes at your meetings.
  • Invite guest speakers to your meetings and inform your members.

If you still have a dwindling membership contact Dept. HQ for some more helpful ideas.

DAV encourages you, as an individual, to register to vote, to vote in elections and to actively support the candidates of your choice. However, as a DAV member, you have the responsibility to ensure your activities as a private citizen do not give the appearance that DAV supports or opposes any political candidate.
