Chapter 46 a part of Durham Transportation Network Service
We provide transportation to veterans who have a scheduled appointment at Durham VA Medical Center (DVAMC). Contact Chapter at 910-868-2251 one business day prior to your scheduled appointment Monday thru Friday 10am thru 2 pm. Do not consider your reservations final until you speak with an Office Coordinator and your information is recorded on the trip sheet for that day. All appointment times must be scheduled between 8 am and 1pm at DVAMC for veterans riding on the van.
On the day of your appointment, you must check in with the driver at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, (FVAMC), Emergency room at 5:50 am at which time you must present your VA ID card and appointment slip. The van leaves out FVAMC at 6 am and leaves DVAMC as early as the last scheduled appointment is completed but no later than 2 pm to return to FVAMC
