Soldiers and Sailors Military Museum & Memorial is dedicated to the history of the men and women of the United States in times of war.  This Historical Landmark was built in 1910 by Civil War Veterans and houses one of the largest collections of authentic Civil War artifacts in the country, including the death mask of Abraham Lincoln.  The museum provides a rich learning experience for all people by exploring the deeds and sacrifices of ordinary citizens during extraordinary circumstances.
 
Their unique and engaging exhibits begin with the Civil War and continue through to the present day conflicts.  The exhibits express much more than just the logistics and tools of war.  They provide a better understanding of what life was like on the home front as well as what the soldier experienced in the field.
